New Publication in "Advances in Polymer Technology"
In this publication, three experimental methods for determining the glass transition temperature of amorphous polymers under gas and pressurization are compared. Knowledge of the glass transition temperature under elevated pressure and under blowing agent loading is of high importance for several industrially used processing methods, for example for the production of polymer foams. In the publication, measurements with dynamic heat flow calorimetry, creep experiments and rheological measurements under gas and pressurization are compared and discussed.
