Mr. Carlos Correia, PhD Student at the University of Aveiro, recently completed a 3-month mobility program at the Chair of Plastics Technology, focusing on scaling-up the processability of starch-based foam grade formulations. During his stay, the cooperation of the group of Prof. Victor Neto, Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro (Portugal), and the Chair of Plastics Technology was further strengthened. The research activity of Mr. Correia was an important step in the continuous effort to design new bio-based solutions aimed at reshaping the future of plastic products.
