Symposium "75 Years DRG" with Lectures of LKT

The symposium of the German Rheological Society (DRG) took place from October 5-7, 2026 in Berlin on the occasion of the 75th birthday of the DRG. The German Rheological Society was founded on October 5th, 1951 in Berlin. Prof. H. Henning Winter (University of Massachusetts Amherst) gave a historical overview on the DRG. On this event, Christopher Krüsener and Bill Febrian Winoto, both PhD students at LKT, presented their scientific results on processing of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and poyloxymethylene (POM-C), respectively, by means of additive manufacturing. Mrs. Anne Bornemann (TU Clausthal) also presented results of her joint DFG project with LKT in a lecture.
